Haul: Sephora Private Sale

Hey Beauties, welcome back to my blog! I am so excited to be sharing with you what I bought from the Sephora Private Sale so stay tuned if you are curious to find out too. I did not buy a lot from this sale because I will be travelling quite a bit this year and I thought I should save up a bit.

Anyway back to today's topic, first item on the list is my all time favorite Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3. I had recently finished a bottle of this Clarifying Lotion and have been wanting to repurchase it.  This Clarifying Lotion is the second step in the Clinique's Three Step Skin Care System and the number behind refers to the skin type it is suitable for. For me, I go for their number 3 as it is for combination oily skin but if you have very dry skin you should go for 1; if you have combination dry skin, you should go for 2 and if you have very oily skin, you should go for 4. I love how this Clarifying Lotion manages to keep my face clean and oil free. Definitely recommending this to all combination oily skin readers out there.

Next item I bought is the Pixi Glow Mud Mask. I had initially wanted to repurchase the Fresh Umbrian Clay purifying mask as it is my all time favourite mask from Fresh and I simply love how it can be used either as a mask or pimple cream. I always get the travel size one however it was out of stock at the Bugis outlet so I went for this mud mask instead after reading so many positive reviews on it. Apparently, it can also be used both as a mask and as a spot corrector and it contains skin loving ingredients such as ginseng, sea salt and rosemary. Can't wait to try this out and share with you guys how I feel about this mask!

Next up is another new item that I have been eyeing since it was launched in Singapore and that is the IGK Thirsty Girl coconut milk leave in conditioner. I have always wanted to try out IGK products ever since I saw Kathleenlights raving about this brand on her Youtube channel and needless to say, I was super excited when Sephora Singapore finally brought this brand in. So apparently, how this leave in conditioner works is that after shampooing, you just need to spray an adequate amount to your hair and you are done! It is said to be able to leave your hair looking shinier, smoother and frizz free for the next 24 hours and since I am a big fan of coconut smell, I really cannot wait to try it out!

The next item is a repurchase as I have finished my current one and I have decided that I cannot live without it - NYX Angel Veil primer which I swear by. I really love how it makes my face so smooth after applying and it keeps my face looking matte all day. Honestly, I think this NYX Angel Veil primer is a good dupe for Laura Mercier oil free primer as they feel the same on my skin and the effects are the same as well. Laura Mercier is selling at almost thrice the price of the Angel Veil so if you are a beginner in make up and have combination oily skin like me, get your hands on this NYX Angel Veil primer first and who knows it may be your holy grail too.

Last but not least, I got myself the new Tarte Minutes To Mermaid Brush set!To be honest, it wasn't even on my shopping list but when I had the chance to feel the brushes at the store, the softness of the brush totally blew me away on the spot and I immediately put it in my shopping basket. These beautiful mermaid tail brushes will be a good addition to any dressing tables!
