One Brand Full Face Makeup - Maybelline

Hey gorgeous, welcome back to my blog!

So in today's post, I'll be doing yet another full face makeup with just one brand and this time, I'll be using the popular drugstore brand - Maybelline. I have also been a die hard fan of Maybelline because her products are really affordable and of good quality. One of my all time favourite product from Maybelline is the Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles and I've been repurchasing it everytime I finished one. So needless to say, it'll also be featured in this blog post today.

To start off with the makeup, I am using the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser as the primer.

I believe this is one of Maybelline top selling products and it is really good in my opinion. It helps to blur my pores and my skin is so smooth after applying it, making the application of foundation so much easier. It is colourless with a silicone-y texture, just like any other pore erasing primer. I like the packaging as it is very light and easy to carry around. Ps: I got mine from JB's Watsons as it is retailing at a much cheaper price than in Singapore. I think I got mine from JB at $7 only.

2) Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

After applying the primer, I usually do my concealing first to cover my blemishes as well as dark circles. But this really depends on your preference as some people may prefer to do the concealing after their foundation. So for concealer, I am using my holy grail Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer and yes, I use it for my blemishes as well. I usually go for the one in shade Light as I think it suits me the best. I believe Maybelline has extended their shade range because the last time I repurchased it from Watsons, I thought I saw more than two shades. In the past, there was only light or medium, if I'm not mistaken. So good job Maybelline for extending the shade range! The concealer has medium to high coverage in my opinion and it can usually cover my dark circles with just one layer. I love the creamy texture and it is very easy to blend and build. The only thing I do not like about this concealer is the packaging as I think the sponge applicator gets a bit dirty and disgusting over time. But overall, I still think it's a good concealer so I'll definitely repurchase it again and again.

3) Fit Me Foundation Matte + Poreless

If you've been reading my blog, you should know that I've recently been loving the Fit Me Powder Foundation and I think it is even better than some of the high end foundation. But for this post, I'll be using the Fit Me Liquid Foundation instead and I believe mine was the old packaging that doesn't come with a pump (and that sucks) because I usually ended up pouring too much of the foundation out of the bottle. My usual Maybelline shade is in 120 Classic Ivory and I think it suits me perfectly. The Maybelline Fit Me Foundation has got a watery consistency and it dries down to a matte finishing, leaving my skin poreless and flawless. It is also very light weight and buildable, if you want a higher coverage. But if I used up this bottle, I may not repurchase it because I do have many other foundations that I like more and reach out to more often.

4) V Face Duo Stick by Facestudio

Contour and highlighting stick

I'm not sure if this is still available in stores because I got this years ago and I remembered not liking it. So I decided to give it a try again and I still don't like it. Firstly, the contour shade is a little too brownish to my liking and I don't think it actually suits Asian skin tones. I prefer contour with a greyish undertone instead. And the highlight is more like a white chalk with some glitters in it and it makes my skin looks cakey after applying. So this one product that I will not recommend anyone to buy.

5) Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet Master Flush Stick

Nice rosey shade
For the Blush, I'm using the Master Blush Stick from the Alice + Olivia collection and I think there is only one shade for this Blush. The packaging is so small and handy and I like that it comes with a blending brush on the other side. When I swatched the Blush on my hand, the colour pay off was so good but when I actually applied it to the face, the pigmentation is not as high so you definitely got to work your way to achieve the colour that you desire. It is buildable but I do notice that as I tried to build up the colour, a little bit of my foundation got rubbed off. I feel that there is better cream blusher out there in the market so this is probably something I would not recommend as well.

6) Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder

I have been wanting to try this loose powder and finally I got to try it! This is the loose powder that was highly raved by many youtubers so when I finally got mine the mail, I got inspired to do this post just to test this out haha. The Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder claims to help control shine and smooth skin's texture. It is also very light weight with a translucent coverage, giving off a fresh and natural look. I got mine in shade 10 fair light which helps to brighten up my skin a little. It is indeed very light weight as it claims but for the matte finishing, I probably got to test it out with other foundations as well to see the results. I'll update you guys again when I've done so. So stay tuned to this space!

7) Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette

I recently bought two new eyeshadow palettes, the Lemonade Craze as well as the Soda Pop and I decided to try the Lemonade Craze first since this is slightly more popular than the other palette.

To my surprise, the pigmentation of this palette is really good, but I do experience a little fall outs with the lighter matte shades. But all in all, I think this is a pretty decent palette as it has a good mixture of matte and shimmer shades and the colours are quite easy to pull off. My favourite shade has got to be the Ice Pop (hot pink) as well as the Lemonade Craze (yellow).

For this eye look, I first applied Sunnies all over the lid as the base. Then I went for Coral Punch and applied it to my crease. To spice things up a little, I went for the Ice Pop shade and focused it on the outer corners of my lid, blending it towards the centre. Lastly, I added Citrus to the other half of my lid, giving the eye look a little shimmer. I also applied the Citrus shade to the lower lash line.

8) Alice + Olivia HyperSharp Liner

Another holy grail of mine, I have been loving Maybelline Hypersharp liner for years because it is absolutely smudge proof for me and I love the felt tip which is so hard and so easy to draw a straight and thin line with. It is very waterproof so it can really last a whole day, rain or shine. The one that I have on hand is also from the Alice + Olivia collection and I think the packaging is really cute and minimalist with the black and white design.

9) The Falsies Push Up Drama / The Hyper Curl

For mascara, I have got 2 new addition to test out, the Falsies Push Up Drama as well as the Hyper Curl.

Falsies push up drama

For the Falsies Push Up Drama mascara, I like the colour of the packaging as it is in metallic hot pink colour, match with red and it gives off a glamorous vibe. The wand is long and sleek and I think that this may be suitable for lower lashes as well. Since the name of the mascara is Falsies push up drama, I would think that it means this mascara can make any lashes look like Falsies with that dramatic curl. But nope, this was not the effect I got. What I got was a clumpy looking lashes that automatically drooped as I applied. It was a big disappointment for me and I totally do not recommend this at all.

The other Hyper Curl mascara is so much better in my opinion.

Again mine is the Alice x Olivia collection design and I like the wand too even though it is shorter but the curve makes the eyelashes curler. Also my lashes did not clump together like the first one. Definitely prefer this Hyper Curl to the Falsies Push Up Drama.

10) Creamy Mattes Lipstick

Last but not least, to finish the whole makeup look, I got the Creamy Mattes Lipstick in the colour 660 Kissed.

I love the cream texture of the lipstick even though it is a matte finishing but it is not drying at all which is very suitable for people with dry lips like me. The colour is abit too dark to my liking but it lasted a whole day and even after I ate a meal.

So that's all I have for this post! In conclusion, I really do like Maybelline products as I think they are affordable and good. Please let me know if you have any Maybelline products to recommend me to try and I would love to try them out too. Do follow me if you haven't already and I will see you in my next post, xoxo.
