L'Oréal Infallible 24H Fresh Wear Foundation V.S. L'Oréal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation

Hey gorgeous, welcome back to my blog!

So in today's post, I'll be doing another foundation comparison just like the Maybelline one that I did previously. The foundations that I will be comparing today are the L'Oréal Infallible 24H Fresh Wear Foundation and the L'Oréal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation. If you are curious to see which one I prefer, keep on scrolling!

Instead of testing them out side by side, I did a full face makeup for both foundations this time, starting with the Infallible 24H Fresh Wear Foundation.

My shade is in 130 True Beige but unfortunately I think you can't seem to get this shade in Sg

Let's talk about the packaging first, the foundation comes in a typical glass bottle design with a pump. I am not sure if you can tell but the pump is not the usual protruding kinda pump like other foundations (hope you can visualise what I was trying to describe here lol) so when you pumped out the foundation, it will drip all over the bottle thus staining the cap, which is something I didn't quite like.

Again, mine is in shade True Beige
I would say it is of a creamier consistency and it is very buildable. I was able to cover the pores as well as 60% of my dark circles with one layer so I would say it is of a medium coverage.

The foundation is said to be suitable for all skin types but I felt that it tends to dry out really quickly so be careful of the amount you pump out. Try to apply them bit by bit so that the foundation will not be cakey or uneven especially if you have very dry skin. I made a mistake by putting the foundation all over my face before patting them out evenly so I had quite a hard time doing so once they dried up on my face. Also, I do find that this 24H Fresh Wear Foundation is a little tacky so definitely got to set it down with powder after applying. It is indeed very long lasting and I like that it was very light weight on my skin.

This was how the makeup looked after 10hrs.
Overall, I think this 24H Fresh Wear Foundation is suitable for normal to oily skin type because it does have a matte finishing. If you have dry skin but still wanna give this foundation a try, then be sure to moisturise your face with a good moisturising primer otherwise this will be too drying for you. Oh and before I forgot, this foundation is retailing at $32.90 for 30ml.

As for the L'Oréal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation, the packaging is simpler and smaller in the form of a squeezing tube which in my opinion makes it easier to bring around.

I am in shade 102 Shell Beige

So this foundation claims to have a demi-matte finishing with medium coverage and is able to last up to 24 hours, just like the Infallible 24H Fresh Wear Foundation.

Yep that's my little doggie in the background
So as compared to the 24H Fresh Wear Foundation, this Pro Matte one has a more watery consistency and in my opinion slightly easier to apply on. I felt that this is one foundation that you can even apply with your fingers due to its watery texture and it is not tacky at all so you can totally skip the setting powder.

After one layer of application
One thing for sure was that this Pro Matte Foundation was even lighter weight than the 24H Fresh Wear Foundation. They both had similar coverage in my opinion but this latter one was definitely less drying but at the same time giving the demi matte finishing. If you have dry skin, this is one foundation that you can consider and if you have normal to oily skin like me, I feel that this foundation is perfect for us.

After 10hrs of wearing, the foundation looked the same as when I first applied.
It is retailing at $29.90 for 30ml, so it is also slightly cheaper than the 24Hr Fresh Wear Foundation.

In conclusion, I felt that both foundations are equally long lasting and they both kinda gave the same matte finishing. But I do slightly prefer the Pro Matte Foundation as it was less drying and tacky. If you only have the budget to purchase one between the two, then I would highly recommend to go for the Pro Matte Foundation since it is also slightly cheaper and they have the same kind of finishing.

And that's all for today's post, I hope you have enjoyed reading this post and till the next post, xoxo.

Sephora Mid-Year Sale Haul

Hey gorgeous, welcome back to my blog!

Today I have yet another haul to share with you guys and that's the Sephora mid year sale haul! I had previously missed the Sephora member sale in April as I was out of town so when I saw the advertisement that Sephora is having a mid-year sale, I knew I had to check it out. If you are interested to see what I've gotten from this sale, keep on scrolling!

1) Boscia Luminizing Pink Mask

I will start the ball rolling with the skincare products that I bought and the first item was this Boscia Luminizing Pink Mask. Not gonna lie, the main reason I bought it was because it's in pink. When I saw this on the sale rack, I was like "oh this is so cute i need to have it!" and so I put in my basket without hesitation. I have also always been a fan of the Boscia Charcoal Pore Minimising Bio-Cellulose Mask and so I was really excited to try their peel-off mask too.

Original rtp was $50 but it's now on 50% off!
I had tried it once so far and I didn't really know how I felt about this product. You've got to apply a really thick layer in order for you to peel it off smoothly when it dries up.  My skin definitely felt smoother after peeling off the mask but I didn't notice the pore minimising effect that it said would have.

I have seen some reviews that people really teared quite badly when applying this mask but this didn't happen to me so I guess if you have really sensitive eyes, you may want to avoid this product.

The peeling was relatively easy and painless on the parts where I really applied a thick even layer but on the parts where I didn't apply as much, e.g. my forehead, the peeling was hard and painful. Overall, if this product wasn't on sale, I probably would not be buying because of its hefty price tag. I believe there are way better and affordable peel off masks out there in the market as compared to this.

2) Burt's Bees Facial Cleanser For Sensitive Skin

Next item was also something I picked up from the sales rack and that's the Burt's Bees Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin with cotton extract.

Original rtp was $32 and it's also on 50% off
Cotton extract is said to be a natural ingredient that can aid in minimising the adverse effect of harsh soaps and cleansers and I thought this sounded good for pregnant lady (another excuse to shop). It is also fragrance free and non comedogenic which means it will not clog my pores.  Everything sounds good right? But when I tried it for the first time, I knew that was going to be the last tine I will be using it. The smell was so bad. It smelt like wax, felt like putting wax on my face, the feeling was just super horrible. I felt like my face wasn't even washed that I had to wash a second time with my Senka Perfect Whip Facial wash. And the regular price for this facial cleanser is $32?! Seriously Burt's Bees, what's going on? Major disappointment with this product and I felt like I could have bought 4 of my Senka Perfect Whip instead. If this happened to be your favourite facial wash, I am sorry I didn't like it but everyone has their own preference right haha.

3) Becca Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation

Moving on to makeup products, I will start with the foundations I bought. The first one I got was this Becca Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation in shade Porcelain. On the website, this was said to be a buildable foundation for soft, matte skin and this id typically what I look for when it comes to choosing foundation for my combination to oily skin type. I am also into foundation that can help to blur my imperfections and my pores and this foundation claims to be able to do so with its light-as-air formula.

So let's talk about the packaging first, I love that it comes in a tube and to my surprise, a pump which is amazing as I thought I would have to squeeze the tube to get the product. A very travel friendly foundation, also of a right size to throw into your carry-on baggage in my opinion.

The foundation is of a creamy consistency and as you can see, I got a shade too light for my skin tone. I usually get Porcelain for most of the brands out there so I think you probably need to get one shade darker for this foundation to achieve the perfect match for your skin tone.

Applied the Becca foundation on the right side of my face.
First impression of this Becca Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation is that it is really light weight, like I dont feel like I'm actually applying anything on my face. It's also not tacky at all so I can totally skip the setting powder for this foundation. I would say that it has a medium coverage as you can see from the photo above, my dark circle is 70% covered, as compared to the other side of my bare face. It is also very buildable and I love the sweet scent of the foundation. Overall I think this is definitely a good buy, especially when it is on a 40% discount off its original rtp at
$68 so I paid $40.80 for this foundation. A good deal indeed.

4) Marc Jacobs Beauty Shameless Foundation

The second foundation that I got from this mid-year-sale was this Marc Jacobs Beauty Shameless Foundation in shade light Y270. I love the name of this foundation, like I could go ahead and show off my face shamelessly with this. So on the Sephora website, it is said to be a buildable foundation that can last up to 24hrs wear and most importantly it is flashback-free with its first-to-market SPF technology. Sounds gimmicky but I was really curious to try it out.

I think the packaging looks cute in this flat and short plastic bottle. It doesn't with a pump though which is a bummer. The Shameless foundation has a watery consistency and the smell reminds me of the Banana Boat Sunblock which I don't personally like. The foundation dried up really quickly so I would suggest that you pump it directly on your beauty blender and apply it to your face directly. I think this foundation also works well without setting powder because it is not tacky as well. Also a medium coverage for me but I did notice that my pores were still quite visible after applying a second layer.

Did a flash test here and okay indeed no flashback.
A little goes a long way for this foundation so I guess it will take awhile to finish this 32ml foundation. It is currently on a 40% off its usual price at $74 so if you're looking indulge in a high-end foundation, now is the time to go for it.

5) Too Faced Sun Bunny Duo Tone Bronzer

Next I got the bronzer that I had been eyeing for a while from Too Faced and that is the Sun Bunny Duo Tone Bronzer. It is said to have a subtle pink undertone which resembles a real soft tan so I was really keen to try it.

I feel that Too Faced always ace in their product packaging, just like this bronzer. Totally love the golden rim that makes it looks so classy and also the big mirror in it.

Colour pigmentation is so good and I love that it has a little golden shimmer to it. I also think that the darker shade makes a good eyeshadow too.
The lighter shade on the other hand is an amazing contour/bronzer for my skin tone.

Okay so this bronzer duo from Too Faced is on a 40% discount right now and I got it for $26.40.

6) Jill Stuart Loose Blush

Next was an impulsive purchase because of the packaging. Who else agree with me that Jill Stuart has the prettiest packaging ever? Whenever I stepped into Sephora at Ion, I'll always stop at Jill Stuart shelf and just stare at the packaging. So pretty. So when I saw that their loose blush is on sale, I just had to get it. I got mine in shade 02 Fluffy Flower.

So well wrapped

Just look at this gorgeous packaging 😍

And it came with a cute puff stick for application
100 points for the packaging and I think it will look so cute on my vanity desk.

Fluffy flower is a nice everyday pinky shade and I didn't think the camera does  any justice to it in my swatch.

It's not showing in the picture but the blusher gave me a natural healthy looking glow look. It also has a faint floral scent which I absolutely love. In fact, I may get the other shades as well! So this amazing blusher is on 50% off now and it is going at $27 only! What're you waiting for!

7) Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Sun Dipped

So the next item I got was the highlighting palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills in the shade Sun Dipped. I saw on the website that this will cast an instant intense glow which is what I love.

Honestly I was kinda disappointed that it didn't come with a mirror =( The packaging is simple and flimsy. Definitely not the best packaging in the market. I mean, for something that costs $70, I was expecting a better packaging than this. I got it at 50% off so not too bad. The colour pay off is really good too just like her Modern Renaissance eyeshadow palette which I also own.

I can see myself using the shade "Summer" quite often as it is the kind of golden shimmer that I like. I think the shade "Moonstone" is equally gorgeous with that pinkish undertone. The other 2 shades "bronzed" and "tourmaline" are a tad too dark for me but they are also very pigmented and I think girls with darker skin tones will look fantastic in it.

8) Huda Beauty Double Ended Liquid Eyeshadow

So the second last item that I got was this Huda Beauty Double Ended Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Dusty Pink. Main reason I got it was because it was on sale lol. 50% off to be exact, so why not? It comes with a matte eyeshadow on one end and a shimmer eyeshadow on the other end. I read some reviews on the Sephora site and everyone was raving about how lasting these eyeshadows are, how creamy the matte one is, and how easy it is to apply with just your finger tip. I was intrigued so here I am with one of it.

I actually do like the packaging, very simple yet sturdy because it's made of acrylic.

And OMG, the eyeshadows are so creamy and intense. The colour pay off is 💯. The matte is called "Bubble Bath" and is a matte dusty pink which I feel is an everyday colour to wear. The metallic shade is called "Pink Champagne" and I feel that it is a mixture of pink and burnt orange with shimmer which in my opinion is a very nice unique colour that can go well alone. I did notice that the metallic colour dried down slower than the matte shade but they do dry down completely eventually. I truly love this Huda Beauty Double Ended Liquid Eyeshadow and I may ended up getting more shades.

9) Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palette

The last item of the day is the mini eyeshadow palette from Smashbox called the Cover Shot Eye Palette and got it in the shade Major Metals. It was also on 50% off so I got it for $21.

The packaging is so cool with the 3D effect. 100 points for that, Smashbox!
It is also very thoughtful of them to put in 2 bigger base shades so that we won't run out of base shades before finishing the other high-impact shades.

Let's see some swatches.

The colour pay off is so amazing! I love all the colours here especially the gold shade and the fuchsia shade. The shadows are well pressed and I didn't experience any fall out while swatching. If there is only one eyeshadow palette that you can get from this sale, then I highly recommend you to get this. $21 for 8 amazingly shadows? Worth it!

So that's all I have for this post. Do check out Sephora's Mid Year Sale if you haven't already done so. The sale is ongoing now till 3rd July so you still have the weekend to do some shopping. I hope you have enjoyed reading this post and till the next post, xoxo.

Ezbuy 618 Sales Haul

Hey gorgeous, welcome back to my blog!

In today's post, I'll be sharing the stuff that I had recently bought from the Ezbuy 618 sales so if you're keen to see what I had gotten and whether they are worth buying or not, keep on scrolling!

1) Foldable Mountain Bicycle

So my husband has always wanted a foldable bicycle and since Ezbuy was doing the 618 sale with free shipping and agent fee, I thought why not order from them then. This turned out to be the best decision made ever. We paid $139.43 nett for the bicycle with absolutely no hidden fees or extra cost.

This is how the bike looks like after fixing it.
Aesthetic wise, I think this foldable mountain bike is much better looking than those we saw selling in the supermarkets. Usage wise, I'll have to wait till le hubby to test it out on the road before I update this space again. The delivery was okay as it took about 3 weeks to arrive in Singapore and few days to be delivered to our doorstep.

Came in a box like this
Together with some QR Codes for us to download the video instructions.
Overall, the husband is very satisfied with this purchase. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the link to it but if you are thinking of getting it as well, try searching Amin Foldable Mountain Bike on the Ezbuy app.

2) Baby Romper

Next, I also took this opportunity to get some stuff for Baby R. I actually carted out 5 rompers, 1 mitten set and 1 headband for her but all of that were out of stock 😭 so in the end, only 1 romper came. I guess that's what happened when Ezbuy was on sale. I was looking out for unisex baby romper and this cute elephant print one caught my eye.

Bought it from here https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/56700198?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/56700198?src=Background
It came exactly as per described. The material is super soft and comfy and most importantly not too thick. I also like how it has buttons on the bottom for easy diapers changing (I think) . I would say this is totally worth the $4.43 that I spent.

3) Nursing Bra in Grey with padding

Continuing with the maternity/baby needs, I also got a nursing bra from this sale. And I absolutely love this nursing bra! Not only does it come with padding on both sides, the material is also very breathable and comfortable.
Bought it here https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/164407198?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/164407198?src=Background
The quality is so good that it actually reminded me of the nursing bra that I bought from Mothercare which was way more expensive than this that I got from Ezbuy at $5.69. Highly recommend all mothers-to-be out there to check out the link I added above for this comfy nursing bra.

4) Cactus Switch Protection Cover

The fourth item I got was super random but I happened to chance upon it while surfing through the site and it caught my eyes immediately.
So adorable right?! https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/173930593?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/173930593?src=Background
I bought it on impulse without actually measuring to see if it will fit the switch at home but thankfully it fitted nicely.
Tada! Exactly like the photo from the website right!
Quality is really good as well and it sticks well on our cemented wall. Definitely a good buy at only $1.59.

5) Samsung S9+ Coca Cola Phone Case

Next is another item I got for the husband, a new phone case in his favourite drink design. He was so excited when he got it and tried it on his phone immediately. Thankfully it was a perfect fit and he loves it alot. I wouldn't say it is super cheap as you can probably get even cheaper cases elsewhere such as Malaysia and I paid $7.86 for this silicone coca cola phone case.

Looks exactly like a can of coke from the back. https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000258198318?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000258198318?src=Background

6) Slip On White Canvas Shoes

Next up is the one and only pair of shoes I got in this haul. My feet size has grown from size 39 to 41 due to the water retention during pregnancy and it has been very difficult for me to buy shoes nowadays. My sneakers are way too small for me now and I have been living in sandals and mules for the past few months. When I saw this inexpensive pair of slip on sneakers, I thought perhaps I can give it a try and so I got them in their largest size available, 40.

It kinda gives off the inspired Onitsuka Tiger vibes. https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/235753381?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/235753381?src=Background

How it looks like in real life
I really like the design and it is actually quite comfortable to wear. Thankfully, it fits me nicely but I do think that the friction of the sole looks like it will wear off after a few walks. But for $8.94, I still think it is quite worth the money.

7) Swimming Bag

So I recently picked up swimming again as everyone was telling me about the benefits of swimming during pregnancy and this gave me an excuse to buy this 7th item, a swimming bag with a separate compartment for the wet stuff.

Got mine in hot pink and the colour is really bright in real life. https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/160365703?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/160365703?src=Background
I have carried it out once so far and I thought it was really convenient to be able to put my wet swim suit in the separate waterproof compartment thus ensuring that the dry stuff remained dry. For only $5.73, I think this is a quite a good buy.

8) Champion Canvas Bag

Next item is the second and the last bag of this haul, a Champion canvas bag. Honestly, I don't think it's authentic because I only paid $11.60 for it but then again the website said it was "Japan Limited Genuine Champion canvas bag" so I can't be 100% sure. Let me know what you guys think, whether it's authentic or not. But put that aside, the design and the colour of the bag were the deciding factors for me to cart it out.

See, the blue and red looks so nice together right
https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/207095048?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/207095048?src=Background
Quality of the bag is really good too and I can totally see myself using it quite often for my Ootds.

9) Silky Pyjamas Set

Moving on to my clothing haul, first up is a pyjamas set in the most comfortable silky material ever. I got it in a cute bunny design and I absolutely love it. I got them in size XXL because pregnant lady has got big hips haha.

This is how the set looks like, adorable right?
https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/171035081?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/171035081?src=Background
The material and design of the pyjamas make it looks classy and expensive but I actually got them at $10.32 only. On a side note, also because of the material, the pyjamas tend to stick to your skin especially after you perspire and it maybe a little uncomfortable for some people when this happens.

10) Grey Shorts

Next is a pair of very casual grey shorts with drawstrings. I got it also in size XXL and thankfully it fits nicely on me. I intend to wear this at home when the weather is unbearably warm. It is of a cotton material so it is extremely comfortable to wear. Definitely a good choice for stay-at-home days.

Got this for $5.65
https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/191888091?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/191888091?src=Background

11) Blue Polka Dots Cotton Night Gown

Yet another comfortable home clothes, I got myself a very cute night gown in big polka dots. Trust me, when you are pregnant, you just want to make sure that you are dressed comfortably at all times, especially when you are home. The night gown is made of very thin cotton-ish material which I like because I feel less warm in it but it is also a little sheer so I would suggest you not to wear it when there are guests visiting your place. I also got it in size XXL for the oversized look and this is about $5.36.

https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000477758668?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000477758668?src=Background

12) Snow White Grey Cotton Tee

Also from the same shop, I got myself another oversized tee with Snow White and a dwarf printed on it. I can totally imagine myself  heading out donning this tee with a pair comfortable maternity leggings. Perfect. It is also made of cotton so it's really comfortable and stretchy. It is also $5.36, same price as the night gown you saw before this. Oh right, size for this is also XXL since I really am into the oversized look nowadays.

https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000477758668?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000477758668?src=Background

13) Lilac Popeye Collared Tee

The cartoon Popeye actually played a big part in my childhood, not because I loved watching the show, but I always played this "I'm popeye the sailorman" game with my primary classmates. High five if you know what game I was talking about. So when I saw this cute lilac tee, I knew I had to cart it out. The colour is really nice in real life and the material is super comfortable. Size XL fits me with a slight oversized feel. I really love it at first sight and in fact I had already worn it twice since I got it.

https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000645741348?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000645741348?src=Background

Isn't this so damn cute?!
But then, I saw a slight defect with the design of the tee.

Try spotting the defect?

Can you tell that the buttons are all slanted to a side?!
Ever since I noticed this defect, I cannot unsee that anymore and the more I looked at it, the buttons seemed to be even more slanted. Sigh. But I will still wear it nonetheless since it is not exactly cheap. In fact, this was the most expensive clothing I got in this haul. Yeap, I paid $12.47 for this defected top. Oh wells.

14) Floral Babydoll Dress in Yellow

I have been digging the babydoll dress trend lately so naturally I had to cart out one this round. Got this floral babydoll dress in size L for $10.53 and I'm loving it. The length is perfect for my 1.62m height which is good because most of the babydoll dresses that I bought are a tad too short for me.

https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000641060753?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000641060753?src=Background

15) Cotton Maxi Dress

My last clothing item in this haul was an absolute disaster. I was looking for a nice summery maxi dress and when I saw this, I was pretty excited and added into my cart immediately. When the dress came, I was so disappointed. The modelled picture on Ezbuy looked 100000 times nicer than the real item.

See, it looked so nice here with a Bohemian vibe!
https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000554389417?src=Background https://m.ezbuy.sg/product/51000554389417?src=Background
And then, take a look at the actual item...

What happened to the bohemian vibe?! All I can see is an ah ma dress here. The material is so thin, the entire dress is see through. It looks really cheap and yes I only paid $7.39 for this so the saying "you get what you paid for" really applies to this dress.

Alright, I'll save the beauty products I got from this haul in another post so if you are keen to find out what beauty products I got, stay tuned to this space. Till the next post, xoxo.
